Meet the Creator
About Still & Flow
I’m Sarah, I'm creator of Still & Flow and founder of Little Wren Qigong. My journey began during perimenopause, when I was seeking calm and balance in a time of change. That’s when I discovered Qigong, and it quickly became a sanctuary — a space to pause, breathe, and respond with intention rather than reaction.
From there, I explored acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, developing a weekly practice with an experienced Chinese acupuncturist who has over 30 years’ experience, including work in hospitals in China. He now shares his insights in Still & Flow each issue.
My love for Qigong has continued to grow, and I’m currently training to teach with Lee Holden, focusing on the Five Elements and exploring the ways these ancient practices connect mind, body, and season. With 20 years as a primary school teacher, creativity is at the heart of everything I do. Still & Flow was born from a desire to share this knowledge in a gentle, accessible way — blending mindful movement, seasonal guidance, and practical inspiration.
I also explore ways to bring Qigong and ancient wellness practices to a wider audience, from creative projects for young people in schools, to seasonal sessions, and, of course, through Still & Flow. My goal is to help others pause, restore, and live with greater awareness and joy.
